With the movement of the beam to the material, the holes continuously form narrow slits (such as about 0.1mm) to complete the cutting of the material, which is laser cutting. Laser cutting has high efficiency, high energy density and flexibility. It is the best choice for sheet metal cutting industry in terms of precision, speed and efficiency. As a precision machining method, laser cutting can cut almost all materials. The laser can focus into a very small spot, which can be used for micro and precision machining, such as micro slit and micro hole machining. In addition, it does not need cutting tools during processing, which belongs to non-contact processing and has no machining deformation. Some traditional difficult or low-quality plates can be easily solved after laser cutting, especially in the cutting of some carbon steel plates, laser cutting has an irreplaceable position< br />

Let's talk about the auxiliary gas used by the laser cutting machine. When cutting stainless steel with laser, most of them will use the method of coaxial injection of high-pressure nitrogen and laser beam to blow away the molten metal so that no oxide will be formed on the cutting surface. This is a good method, but the cost is higher than traditional oxygen cutting. One way to replace pure nitrogen is to use filtered workshop compressed air, which is composed of 78% nitrogen. Using filtered compressed air in laser cutting is faster than using oxygen or nitrogen - generally 300 IPM to 320 IPM. Although some initial investment needs to be made in some equipment, filtration and compressed air, its long-term cost is still low compared with the cost of "traditional" auxiliary gas.
